Movement and Mindfulness: Intro to Meditation and Relaxation Techniques

Meditation helps you quiet the mind and move into a deeper, relaxed state. This can be achieved through the practice of a variety of techniques including mindfulness, focused breathing, gentle movement, guided imagery and visualization.
General class information:
• Eat lightly at least 2 hours before class
• Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes
• You may want to bring a small pillow, shawl, or light blanket, and water
